UAV over-the-horizon video backhaul self-organizing solution
overview
Background description
China is a large border and coastal defense country, the mainland coastline is more than 18,000 kilometers long, there are many points, long lines, and wide areas, except for key areas, it is difficult to comprehensively carry out real-time network monitoring and coverage. In areas covered by unmonitored networks, border and coastal defense units need to rapidly deploy communication systems to enable seamless connection between various combat units, and to carry out efficient, rapid, and safe execution of border and coastal defense tasks by carrying out battlefield information transmission of various services such as video, command, voice intercom, and telecommunications transmission.
solution
The video acquisition equipment is installed on the unmanned ship, and the AnyMESH ad hoc network equipment of Wanlan Communication (the AnyMESH equipment and battery are fixed at the bottom of the drone or in the unmanned cabin), and the transmitting antenna is vertically installed in the tail or stern of the aircraft (it can also be installed according to user needs). The video sources of drones and unmanned ships are connected to AnyMESH to form a complete wireless video transmission system for drones and unmanned ships. The signal transmitted by the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and unmanned ship wireless MESH image transmission equipment is received through the ground wireless image receiving platform, which can clearly display the image collected by the UAV on the display screen, and can also transmit the video signal to other display/storage devices through the interface outside the platform. At the same time, the ground receiving platform can embed the network transmission module to transmit the video signal to the back-end central station by network transmission.
The scheme design is as follows:

As shown in the figure above, the design of the entire emergency rescue command and communication scheme is divided into three parts from left to right.
Ad hoc network airborne node part: the ad hoc network airborne node equipment carried by the UAV in the air and the self-organizing network individual soldier carrying node equipment can also be interconnected through mesh networking, and the communication distance from the general UAV to the ground detection personnel can reach more than 10-20KM;
Emergency communication command vehicle node part: install an ANYMESH ad hoc network vehicle node equipment on the emergency communication command vehicle 20 kilometers away from the front-end detection personnel at a distance, and the ad hoc network vehicle node equipment builds a wireless communication network with the ad hoc network airborne node equipment on the UAV through a wireless MESH link
General command center part: The emergency communication center can build a communication link with the command center through 4G/5G and nearby communication base stations or through satellite signals.
Equipment introduction
Ad hoc network vehicle piggyback station

Product name | ANYMESH-SDR-A2 (10W) MIMO Thin and Light 1W Airborne Ad Hoc Networking Module |
Category | Ad hoc network vehicle piggyback station |
Product model | ANYMESH-SDR-A2(10W) |
Product Introduction | The ANYMESH-SDR-A2 is a base station-type ad hoc network device that can be carried behind you to reduce extra weight or be fixed as a relay base station. The chain can be automatically built and networked after powering on the computer, and no additional configuration work is required. Each piggyback base station node does not need to forward data information through the central node, and all nodes can be used as data information collection node, relay forwarding node and data information output node at the same time. The networking mode dynamically changes with the environment to meet the requirements of multi-scenario applications. The transmission distance of the equipment can reach more than 50KM in an unobstructed environment, and it is effectively used in various severe environmental fields |
The vehicle-mounted ad hoc network radio, with a transmission frequency range of 320M to 1.5G, can be customized, adopts the radio technology of Wanlan Communication's new generation of multi-hop ad hoc network protocol, has the ability to resist complex channel environments, and realizes the centerless same-frequency ad hoc network broadband service transmission between individual soldiers, vehicles, UAVs and other maneuvering points and fixed points in complex scenarios. The device itself has a built-in large-capacity lithium battery, compact design, and a single-channel 2*5W and dual-channel 10W transmission power, which can meet the user's ability to quickly establish a private network in emergency scenarios and provide a stable transmission channel for the user's voice, message, video and other IP data services. The product has the characteristics of software defined radio, which is very suitable for military and firefighting fields, and is also suitable for moving vehicles and ship equipment, so as to realize uninterrupted communication between vehicles and vehicles. In addition, the product can also meet the needs of private network wireless communication in closed scenarios such as mines, tunnels and basements. It can realize point-to-point or point-to-multi-point two-way wireless video, voice and data transmission, and is widely used in smart cities, individual soldiers, public security and armed police, fire rescue, emergency fleet communications, civil air defense border defense, unmanned ships at sea, special robots and other fields.

Summary of the program
The image, video and voice data captured by the intelligent terminal equipment can be transmitted to the ad hoc network airborne node through WiFi, and then the video is transmitted back to the front-end command center through the communication network built by the ad hoc network airborne node and the ad hoc network on-board equipment。 At the same time, the emergency communication center can also transmit data to the nearby tower through 4G/5G, and the video is transmitted to the back-end command center through the operator's network in the tower. When there is no 4G/5G signal in the vicinity of the vehicle, the data can also be transmitted back via satellite.
